作为教务长和学术事务副校长, 我负责与总统一起工作, other Vice Presidents, 和教师领导一起为ODU的诺福克主校区和弗吉尼亚海滩校区设定学术优先级, Peninsula, 以及三城高等教育中心. 其他主要职责包括:开发和提供高质量的本科和研究生教育项目, through on-line, face-to-face, or blended learning modes; development and implementation of inclusive policies relating to the recruitment, retention and success of faculty and staff in Academic Affairs; development and allocation of resources to foster excellence and innovation in faculty and student engagement in research and scholarly activities; enhancement of opportunities for collaboration with industry and state and federal agencies; advancement of ODU's cultural and artistic endeavors, and community engagement; development of international partnerships for students and faculty; maintenance of accreditation from regional and national oversight accrediting agencies; and overseeing and supporting the University Libraries.
